Am scris această continuare la „Puneţi-vă centura de siguranţă! (Fasten Your Seat Belt!)” pentru toţi cei dornici să călătorească, fizic sau doar cu mintea, prin locurile minunate ale acestei planete. A fost, de fapt, dorinţa mea de a da înapoi ceva energiei acesteia, care mi-a permis o viaţă atât de plină. Fiecare plecare mi-a lăsat în suflet clipe mai vesele sau mai triste, aşa cum bunica mă învăţa, copil fiind, că „în fiecare om sălăşluieşte în egală măsură binele şi răul şi depinde doar de mine ceea ce voi primi”. Şi pentru că sunt iremediabil îndrăgostit de oameni, am realizat, nu o dată, cât de importanţi sunt cei pe care ai şansa să-i întâlneşti, diversitatea găsită pretutindeni, fiind pentru mine cea mai de preţ bucurie. Am înţeles că mii de lecţii pot fi înlocuite de o călătorie cu inima deschisă, pentru că ce sunt aceste drumuri altceva decât cursuri intensive de a deveni un om mai bun.  Oricât de mult am călătorit în lume, nu am descoperit vreun loc în care să fiu mai fericit și împlinit decât acasă. Gândul întoarcerii, legătura cu originile neamului meu și amintirile calde ale copilăriei ce mi-a umplut sufletul, mi-au dat întotdeauna energia unei bucurii secrete, a unei conexiuni ce m-a protejat oriunde și care nu poate fi pierdută niciodată. Dacă veţi avea curiozitatea să răsfoiţi volumul, veţi găsi aici, printer cele peste 1400 de imagini, exclusive amintiri personale, sincere, aşa cum le-am păstrat, pe fiecare dintre ele, în sufletul meu.

Prepare for take-off !  Other 189 places of my traveling soul I wrote this sequel to “Fasten Your Seat Belt!” for all those willing to travel, whether physically or only intellectually, along to the wonderful places on this planet. It was actually my desire to give something back to this energy which has allowed me to live such an eventful life. Each journey has left happier or sadder memories in my soul, as my grandmother taught me as a child that “inside every man good and evil equally dwell and it depends only on me the reaction I will receive.” And because I am hopelessly in love with people, I realized more than once that the important thing is who you are with and the ones you have the opportunity to meet, the diversity I’ve found everywhere, being for me the most precious joy of a holiday. I understood that thousands of lessons can be replaced by a trip with an open heart, because what are these journeys other than intensive courses simply to become a better man. No matter how much I’ve traveled around the world, I haven’t found a place where to feel happier and fulfilled than at home. The thought of returning, the connection with my people’s origin and the memories of a wonderful childhood that I keep deep inside in my soul, have always given me the energy of a secret joy, of a connection than protected me wherever I was, so strong that it can never be lost.
