The idea of creating this book came to me a few years ago, when I realized that many of the places that really deserve to be seen and known are not greatly publicized. This is why I decided not to include metropolises such as Paris, London, Rome and New York, already the first choice of curious travelers. I believe that too often people who love travel and the discoveries it yields pass too easily by wonderful destinations, of which unfortunately they don’t know, or are not convinced that these places deserve their attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I tried to select locations from the ones that I have visited myself and had accompanied me all the way on my life’s journey, which I really believe are worthy of presentation, because life is made up \u201cof days you remember, not of days that have passed.\u201d The choice was not influenced by any factor, not even by the lack of kindness of some tourist offices that refused to provide pictures, and at the same time no hotel, restaurant or city presented here sponsored this book in any way.
I intended for the presentation to be more photographic, specifying the geographic location and only a few words to introduce you to the atmosphere of the destination, interspersed with my personal memories. In my desire to make a quality work, I didn\u2019t try to impose my own photographs, preferring instead to promote unconditionally images taken by others, but with a greater reflection of the reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because my steps and my heart have taken me to so many wonderful places, certainly driven by the established human desire to know what\u2019s beyond the horizon, I wanted to write this book, although we are at a turning point for our planet, hoping that humanity, in its wisdom, will learn from the sad events of history, replacing them with tolerance, respect and understanding, so that the landmarks of humanity presented in these pages will remain intact for those who are to come.
This book, written with love, is my soul\u2019s way of giving thanks for the great opportunity I have received, to travel and discover wonderful places and special people. If my time and energy permit, perhaps a second volume will follow. For, regardless of how hard I tried in words, regardless of how expressive are the over 1,350 images, it is difficult to render the rapture and vibration that you feel in person when in contact with these destinations and their people. And so I invite you, dear reader, to know them too. Thank you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am aruncat \u00eentr-un sac de voiaj poze, amintiri, suspine, vise, \u0219iraguri de prietenii \u0219i le-am ascuns de ploi, tr\u0103znete \u0219i impostur\u0103. Azi sacul s-a rupt \u0219i dragile mele a\u0219ez\u0103ri secrete, a c\u0103ror imagine timpul n-a reu\u0219it s-o \u0219tearg\u0103, s-au rev\u0103rsat pe nisipul amintirilor.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ideea c\u0103r\u021bii mi-a venit cu c\u00e2\u021biva ani \u00een urm\u0103, c\u00e2nd am realizat c\u0103 multe din locurile ce merit\u0103 cu adev\u0103rat v\u0103zute \u0219i cunoscute sunt mult prea pu\u021bin mediatizate. Acesta este motivul pentru care am considerat c\u0103 nu este cazul s\u0103 prezint metropole ca Paris, Londra, Roma sau New York, care sunt deja primele op\u021biuni de curiozitate pentru c\u0103l\u0103tori. Cred c\u0103, de multe ori, cei care iubesc c\u0103l\u0103toriile \u0219i descoperirile ce le includ trec cu prea mare u\u0219urin\u021b\u0103 pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 destina\u021bii minunate, dar despre care, din p\u0103cate, nu \u0219tiu sau nu sunt convin\u0219i c\u0103 ar merita aten\u021bia lor.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am \u00eencercat ca loca\u021biile selectate, din cele pe care le-am vizitat, s\u0103 fie cele care au reu\u0219it s\u0103 m\u0103 \u00eenso\u021beasc\u0103 pe tot parcursul vie\u021bii, despre care am crezut cu adev\u0103rat c\u0103 merit\u0103 s\u0103 le prezint, pentru c\u0103 via\u021ba se compune \u201cdin zilele pe care le \u021bii minte, nu din zilele care au trecut\u201d. Alegerea lor nu a fost influen\u021bat\u0103 de niciun alt factor, nici chiar de neamabilitatea unor oficii de turism, ce nu au dorit s\u0103 pun\u0103 la dispozi\u021bie c\u00e2teva fotografii \u0219i, \u00een acela\u0219i timp, nici un hotel, restaurant sau ora\u0219 prezentat aici nu a sponsorizat \u00een nici un mod aceast\u0103 carte.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am dorit ca forma de prezentare s\u0103 fie mai degrab\u0103 fotografic\u0103 \u0219i doar c\u00e2teva cuvinte care s\u0103 v\u0103 introduc\u0103 \u00een atmosfera locului, pres\u0103rate cu amintirile mele personale. \u00cen inten\u021bia unui album de calitate, nu am \u00eencercat s\u0103-mi impun propriile fotografii, prefer\u00e2nd s\u0103 promovez necondi\u021bionat imagini realizate de alte persoane, dar care reflect\u0103 mai puternic realitatea. A\u0219 dori ca atunci c\u00e2nd pleca\u021bi la drum, aleg\u00e2nd una dintre aceste lumini ale planetei, prezentarea mea s\u0103 v\u0103 preg\u0103teasc\u0103 spiritul pentru destina\u021bia aleas\u0103, f\u0103r\u0103 a \u00eempiedica fantezia de c\u0103l\u0103tor a fiec\u0103ruia dintre voi.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aceast\u0103 carte, scris\u0103 cu dragoste, pleac\u0103 din sufletul meu ca o recuno\u0219tin\u021b\u0103 pentru \u0219ansa deosebit\u0103 pe care am primit-o de a c\u0103l\u0103tori \u0219i de a descoperi locuri minunate \u0219i oameni deosebi\u021bi. Dac\u0103 timpul \u0219i energia \u00eemi vor permite, poate va urma \u0219i un al doilea volum. Pentru c\u0103 oric\u00e2t de mult am \u00eencercat \u00een cuvinte, oric\u00e2t de expresive sunt cele peste 1350 de imagini, este greu s\u0103 transmit\u0103 extazul \u0219i vibra\u021bia pe care le sim\u021bi personal la contactul cu aceste destina\u021bii \u0219i locuitorii lor, te invit pe tine, stimate cititor, s\u0103 le cuno\u0219ti personal. \u00ce\u021bi mul\u021bumesc.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
